Version Notes (0.2.2)
We’re excited to have you test this early version of the app. BF2 introduces a few new concepts to help you capture and share memories in unique ways:
Key Terminologies:
Moment – A single selfie captured by a user. A moment cannot exist on its own—it must be part of a memory. When you capture a moment, it either adds to a friend’s memory (via a collab) or creates a new memory for you.
Memory – A collection of moments, each contributed by a different friend. A memory can’t contain multiple moments from the same person. All friends involved in a memory can view it on their profile.
Collab – A request from a friend inviting you to join their memory by capturing your own moment.
Expedition – A new way to socialize through gamified travel with friends. (Coming soon!)
What You Can Do in This Version:
Log in using Google
View and capture moments and memories
Accept a collab request (you’ll have one waiting when you log in)
Accept a friend request (you’ll also have one waiting)
Search for profiles, view them, and send friend requests
Missing Features (Coming Soon):
Expeditions tab is still in development
Liking a moment
Sign-up via email or mobile
Editing your profile
Inviting friends through the app
Rejecting friend requests
Push notifications
Notification filters
Content caching
Pull-to-refresh
Pinch-to-zoom
Auto-scrolling to profiles
Known Bugs:
Accepting a friend request only adds the requester as your friend; the connection isn’t mutual yet
Friend requests can be sent multiple times to the same person
These features and issues will be addressed incrementally in future updates. Thanks for being part of the beta – we’d love your feedback!
